I picked up a Gen 4 G20 a few weeks ago and first time out put 100 rounds of 10mm and then 50 rounds of .40 through it. Did not have any feeding or cycling issues.

It works….most of the time. The problem is when it doesn't. It is possible that the round slips forward in the chamber and yet is still ignited by the striker/firing pin.
