Webb29 nov. 2010 · I installed 2011 Kaspersky suite yesterday morning, free from Barclays and since then it has been doing a scan. Its speed varied from 55,000 objects per hour to 800 and my computer got slower and slower last night and took almost 45 to switch it off after about 12 hours of scans. WebbI don't fully remember what the XP interface looks like anymore (been on & a while), but I had the problem where it scans 1 or 2 files (1%), then simply hangs and the time remaining climbs into #days. Closing Kaspersky and running it in compatibility for XP SP2 with Admin rights enabled solved the problem for me.

Do not turn off iSwift and iChecker Technology options, if you use MMC console (there is already no such option in Web console).
